wedding planner book

I am looking for wedding planners to help me be organized and there are so many to choose from. Did you find an online website with an organizer, or a book/binder planner more helpful? Which ones did you like/recommend? Are there any to stay away from.

Thanks!!!

I loved the planner on knot.com- it was easy to update, and it added things to my to do list as the date got closer. I had a notebook where I kept all of my notes about meeting with vendors, but the online tool really kept me organized and on task for everything.

I just used a white binder with dividers for decorations/ invite list etc.
Then I owuld print things off the internet etc as I ordered, it worked great.

I used the planner on TheKnot.com. It was very helpful, especially since it posted ‘alerts’ as to what I should have accomplished, or should start thinking about, during that month or week. It had some things I didn’t even think of!

I also bought a wedding binder organizer, but I never used it! I just kept all of the vendor info and contracts in a folder.

i carried a binder so that i always had it with me no matter what. so if i had to run some and pay a deposit i had my binder and could track it right then and there

i found that having a planner to have and look thru and carry on my person was better than online planners. i like the everything wedding planning book series. they are fun, have tons of guides, work sheets etc to work with too.

also carry a sectioned folder with you for contracts, receipts, color swatches, notes etc

Great question! I wish I had thought to ask it when I started planning my wedding!
I would recommend getting a 3-ring binder planner. There are several good ones you can find online. I used The Ultimate Wedding Planner. I’ll post a few links for you.
I would stay away from any planner that is bound – meaning you can’t add additional pages to it. I bought a standard planner, but added my own guest list spreadsheets, to-do lists (based on ideas from bridal magazines and websites), plastic sheet covers for fabric swatches, samples and emergency contact lists!
              Good luck and have fun!
