Just so we’re clear: I’m NOT talking about vintage or heirloom items — that is a different discussion.
I’m talking about the hot sandwich maker that had a layer of grease inside of it.
I’m talking about the lamp with the burned out bulb in it.
I’m talking about the wedding planning book with the cracked spine and dog-eared pages.
What did you get? Wanna trade? :0)

He ha. No but I got some ugly outdated avocado green towels in a gift box that looked like something out of the 70’s from my ex sister in law….then one day ex hubby and I were looking at her wedding photos and saw the same towel set in the picture of her presents.
Lol, what a scab. Couldnt even be bothered buying a gift for her own brother….Glad they are all Ex’s now. I guess this was more a case of regifting tho…
No but my mom got a rolling pin that my dads aunt made her pies with that was cover in bacon grease that she said gave her pies flavor needless to say my mom throw it away
Hell no! ew! lol Thats would be a kick in the pants for that person and NO they would NOT be recieving a thank you! lol
The only used thing I got was a set of party dishes (dish and cup set, with a spot on the dish to set your cup) from my grandpa. He got them from a garage sale, and forgot to take the tag off. We thought it was cute. He was old, and divorced, and hadn’t had to buy wedding gifts before. My grandma always did it. Sorry, I don’t want to trade!
ERg… talk about tacky! I recieved someone FREE gift from buying such and such amount of items at the Bon Marche. I found out when I went to return it cause the lady was like oh sorry to break it to you but these serving platters were a free gift for buying so much dinnerware?! WTF Who does this???
Hahah this did not happen to me personally but I was at a wedding (back in the day) when this happened. The bride and groom were opening their gifts (who does that at a wedding anyway?) and they came to the gift wrapped in newspaper, the Comic section. They opened it up and it was a used crock pot. They lady who gave it to them, piped up and said And it works too!
My brother reived and old toaster… it didnt work LOL…
Nope haven’t gotten any used items yet! Our wedding is next saturday, so I’ll let u know! lol
