Wedding Planner Jobs

I am looking for something that isn’t written with America in mind as i seem to keep finding? I am trying to help my friend and want to give her something that’ss really useful not just full of silly ideas like…find someone who’s getting married in the same year and share a dress….yes i have read that!!

But isn’t the knot an american website? Im looking for something that will be helpful in the UK and not harp on about rehearsal dinners and other american customs that we dont follow so much here? I guess something preferably by a British Author?

Alrighty…I just got engaged…**YAY**…I’m so excited!

Problem is, I don’t know the first thing about planning a wedding….I will probably get married around Oct 2007…I’ve started making a scrapbook of ideas and found a dress thats to die for….I got a wedding planner book…actually my fiance got it, but won’t let me have it til Christmas!!! hehe

I’m on my own in a lot of ways…so I need girl advice on how to get started! Any tips, lists, suggestions, etc…would be much appreciated! Thanks!

My dear friend got engaged on Christmas Eve and I’d like to get her a Wedding Planner guide/Organizer so she can stay organized during this next year + of planning.

Its like a book with a schedule and information on when to do my wedding stuff. So I can write down when do buy things when to order or arrange things for my wedding.

I’m addressing my wedding invitations and I have some questions on how to write them. I have a guidelines sheet in my wedding planner book that says to send separate addresses to children over 16. Did you do this or did you just put Mr. and Mrs. Smith and family? Did you list childrens names individualy or just put ‘and family’?

I’m looking for a good Wedding Planner book. Does anyone know of a good one? I would like something with pockets/folders and a place for notes. I’ve looked at some, and the budgets are not very realistic. Any suggestions?

Anyone else have that? I have the wedding planner book and I use the knot.com but I alway have to rethink to make sure I am not forgetting something. I have a lot of stuff done and my wedding isn’t until Nov 3 2007. Anyone or know of anyone who ever forgot to do something/or buy something for the wedding?
